The therapist identifies areas where the body's subtle rhythms are not moving freely and uses very sensitive touch (5-10 grams of pressure) to bring awareness to these areas. This allows the body itself - what Dr. Upledger called the "inner physician" - to resolve these issues on its own without forceful pressing.
